Yeah I know.. Its kinda too late for me to wish happy new year since today is the 6th day of the year.. But still its only been 6 days.. Considering the whole year consist of 365 days, 6 days are nothing right..
Anyway it looks like every blog should wish happy new year while having some sort of round up for the whole last year, so I’m not gonna exclude mine..
So here we go..
Last year has been like a roller coaster ride for me.. Satisfied with almost 27 years of a bachelor life, I decided to be somebody’s wife last March.. Alhamdulillah it was all went well, despite the fact that it was a polling day..
Yeah I was very upset with the suppose-to-be-wise pm that denied he was going to dissolve the parliament but decided to do it when he woke up the next morning.. He ruined everything.. I dont even know how to start.. My cuti was being cut short, my reporter friends could not come because they were scattered all around Malaysia to cover the whole thing, from nomination to polling day itself, my other friends and relatives could not come becos they went back their hometown to vote, n so on n so forth..
Thats why when the lovely pm’s party lost in Perak, my hometown, I was laughing out loud in mungkin-ini-balasan-tuhan style, although later I found the decision by fellow Perakians to vote for the pembangkang then wasnt so wise as many of the new state government decisions are rather untuk kepentingan seseorg atau sesebuah bangsa yg sememangnya sudah kaya raya..
I’m not interested in talking politics this time so I’ll give it a skip.. Back to the story..
After marriage not much happened to me, except for the new home, and a new family (in laws) who live just around, and a new body which was far tembam-er hehe.. Yeah it was kinda hard to adjust to a sharing life though it wasnt entirely new.. But we manage to live with it, and now we are waiting for our first baby which scheduled to be born in August.. Alhamdulillah for the most precious gift, and hopefully everything will turn out fine.. InsyaAllah..
Last year my parents also moved to a new house, built on loan applied by me, and paid by five of my siblings.. Its a nice not-so-big, not-so-small house, which could accomodate all of us at any time.. For me I was thankful for the new house as my wish to fulfill my parents’ wish to stay at a new nicer house before they die came true.. Yeah I do understand how they feel.. Drp mula2 kawin sampailah dua tiga org anak2 diorg dh kawin diorg still tggl di rumah papan beratap zink, yg teramat panas apabila matahari terik dan teramat sejuk apabila hujan lebat.. Kalau takat sejuk je takper juga ini siap ngan bumbung bocor, kena tadah taperwer eskrem supaya rumah x basah dan hasilnya bertimbun2lah kain buruk yg menjadi korban kebasahan itu..
Rumah dulu jugak betul2 di tepi sungai, so bila hujan je risau tanah runtuh, smpai ada satu ketika aku takut nak pegi ’membuang’ kerana tempat itulah yg paling hampir dgn sungai itu.. Bayangkan aku tgh mencangkung tetiba berlaku kejadian tanah runtuh dan aku tak sempat nak pakai towel balik, macamana? Takkan nak mintak tlg org ramai malula aku.. Habis gmbr aku kuar internet nnt hehehe..
But again Alhamdulillah, wpun banyak cubaan dan dugaan, rumah baru itu berjaya disiapkan, dan kedua ibu bapaku dapat tinggal di dalam rumah yg lebih selesa.. Puas hatiku melihat cahaya keriangan mereka apabila dpt tggl di rumah baru, dan aku juga harap tahun ini aku dan adik bradik yg lain dpt mengupgradekan rumah tersebut menjadi lebih best, termasuk membuat oning dan pagar.. InsyaAllah..
Workwise, aku dipindahkan ke biro sebuah lagi wilayah persekutuan yang jaraknya 50km dari rumahku.. Diberitahu pula hanya selepas aku berkahwin dan telahpun berpindah ke rumah baru.. Kalau dia bgtau seblum kawin kan aku bole cari rumah dekat2 sket.. Ni baru pindah takkan nak pindah lagi..
But anyway, aku enjoy sangat keje kat sini.. Mmg mula2 agak sukar dgn kws baru kengkwn baru tugasan baru tapi Alhamdulillah aku manage utk survive till now aku rasa aku dh jd sebahagian drpd kws ni.. Tambah lagi dgn bos yg super duper sporting (kecuali kalo ko mess up ur work or his work), n very flexible on working hrs.. So walaupun jauh beribu batu bak kata alleycats aku tetap enjoy bekerja di sini..
On summary, my life has been great last year.. Yeah there were parts where I get upset and stumble upon and everything but most of it has been great.. And I hope for a better year ahead, not just for me but also for my lovely hubby, my future baby, my mak, my ayah, mama, abah, akak, achik, wa, yop, atar, yang, uda, kak nisa, kak dura, and every single person who shine my life.. Becos its their prayers that kept me up during my downs and light me up in my dark moment cewahhh hehehe..
